Mahlatse Percy Mojapelo
I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate majoring in human psychology, with a strong commitment to community empowerment and ethical governance in Limpopo. My work focuses on initiatives that support youth, education, and local talent, with an emphasis on accountability and transparency in all my projects. One of my primary initiatives is the upcoming Limpopo Creative Summit, scheduled for 2025, which will gather local creatives across all five districts, fostering collaboration, skill-building, and economic development within the arts sector. I am organising a fundraising gala dinner, which has refined my skills in events planning, community engagement, and transparent financial management. This experience has deepened my understanding of the importance of responsible leadership and the need for accountability in managing public resources, values that are essential in municipal governance. I am also active in education, with experience tutoring matriculants and undergraduate students, as well as pursuing a role as an international English tutor. Additionally, I co-founded a DJ academy through Ratchet Concepts, where we provide accessible training to aspiring DJs. This initiative not only nurtures creative expression but also equips young people with entrepreneurial skills, fostering self-sufficiency and community-driven economic growth. My work has shown me the impact of good governance on creating supportive, safe environments where communities can thrive. I am also researching and advocating for campus safety initiatives at the University of Limpopo, an effort that underscores my dedication to accountability and public service. By building my oversight and analysis skills, I can contribute to transparent and responsible municipal management that truly reflects community needs and upholds public trust.

Phuti Puledi Teffu
I am a dedicated philanthropist and humanitarian. I believe this programme will enhance my leadership skills as well as help me embody and have influence on human decency and humanitarianism in the society in which I was born. Seshego faces many challenges daily, be it theft, gangs, teenage pregnancy, and substance abuse in educational premises. Through this programme and involvement in the Miss Limpopo Province organisation, I aim to foster forms of self-investment in the youth of Seshego. In this way, they get to use their thought processes and work on their mindsets. A mind is a powerhouse and most of the youth in the township suffer social ills due to mental issues. By investing in themselves they will learn ways on how to deal with anger, accept themselves, and combat social ills through holistic development. I have hosted a soccer and netball tournament with the Predo Youth Development Foundation. Extra curricula activities, sports and recreation foster discipline and play a huge role in holistic wellness and development.

My discipline entails modules such as Advanced Project Management, Development Planning and Development, Community Development, Development Economics, Rural Development as well as Spatial Development planning, which ultimately correlate with the programme’s fundamentals.
