This survey on the use of public clinics is part of the ASRI’s Pretoria Oversight and Accountability Project, which aims to improve oversight and accountability in the city’s healthcare system. The survey’s findings will be used to inform the project’s efforts to monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided by two of the city’s clinics (Stanza Bopape Community Health Centre (Mamelodi) & Sammy Marks Clinic (Arcadia), and to ensure that they’re meeting the needs of the community.
By collecting data on the public’s experiences with these clinics, the project team can identify areas where the quality of healthcare services needs to be improved and engage with the municipality to work together to address the challenges faced by the community in relation to the clinics.
